I’m a software architect and -developer currently living in Berlin, Germany and I am the creator of Paperwork, the open-source note-taking & archiving alternative to Evernote, Microsoft OneNote & Google Keep and Stack, the Missing Buffer Client for Windows Phone. I also do great things as a freelancer under my own brand twostairs.
Over the past decade I had the chance to work with companies like Makers, United Internet, HSH Nordbank, Maxdome, 1&1, Rocket Internet, Mail.com, Bosch, Gaggenau and many more. During my early years in IT, I contributed a lot to open-source projects like GNOME and gDesklets and also led own projects like GNotify, a precursor of today’s desktop notifications.
I love travelling, photographing and from time to time I enjoy reading a great book. I’m a subscriber of the Monocle magazine and you’ll probably never see me without my headphones on, as I have a pretty huge music library always with me. As an amateur barista I know several great ways to serve a delicious cup of coffee or a strong espresso, brewed with my Rancilio Silvia.
